One of my favorite parts about being a photographer is being able to capture subtle moments like this. Here a brother is giving some love to the new addition to the family. When you sit back and think about it, you will never have another moment in time like this one, and having a portrait commemorating a touching moment between one child and another is so special.
Being able to take newborn photos in my client's Pittsburgh area homes is icing on the cake. In this photo, the neutral decor of the room and clothing worn by the kiddos both compliment my style quite well. This image was taken indoors in Mount Lebanon, PA.
From a technical standpoint, by using a shallow depth-of-field I am able to incorporate much of the background, while keeping the newborn and sibling as the feature of this photo.
