I like to show movement in family portraits whenever I can, and this family photograph is the perfect example of how delightful the result can be. Baby is happy because Mom is playfully holding him in the air. With this shot, I was able to capture joyful connection, playfulness, and movement--all in one shot. I particularly love that I got a great profile shot of Mom, highlighting her bright face and beautiful blonde hair. Baby is a cute little redhead. Neutral colors, including a pop of Navy blue) were chosen for the clothing, so when I photographed them in my Mt Lebanon studio, I selected a gray background. This neutral background allows the viewer to concentrate on this one moment between Mom and Baby without anything else in the shot to distract.

Specifically, you can have a maternity shoot on location at approximately 36 weeks, a newborn session in your home, milestone sessions at 3, 6, and/or 9 months, and a one year family session on location. In addition to discounting, you also get priority scheduling, which during the busy seasons (Summer and Fall primarily) can make a big difference.
