In honor of the TONS of snow and freezing temps we are experiencing in Pittsburgh this week, I am pleased to share with you a fun mini session I did right before Christmas.  First we did a bunch of pics in my studio, where we captured this awesome portrait of these two:kids playing in the snow pittsburghgirl jumping black and white studio portrait

Milestone mini sessions are a great way to celebrate an occasion in your little one’s life–losing teeth, accomplishing a goal, or just… been a while since they had a great indoor portrait.  This is your opportunity to play dress-up and do something creative too! You gotta love a cute & smiley baby girl!  We got so many photos of this little lady in just a quick mini studio session in my studio in Mt. Lebanon.

6-8 months is the absolute perfect time for a portrait–baby is usually sitting well and standing assisted but not crawling away too quickly!  They are full of smiles, agreeable, and generally just adorable–baby Cora is no exception!

Next up, super cute brother & sister pair Noah & Gracie!  These guys are fun and happy and very stylish.  They were recently officially adopted by their gracious and loving mama, Megan, after 18 months of being her foster children.  You would never know they hadn’t been with Megan all their lives with all the love they obviously share.  Megan shared with me her favorite quote about adoption:

“You may not have grown in my womb, but you grew in my heart… I didn’t give you the gift of life, life gave me the gift of you. LOVE makes a family!”
