I welcomed Tommie and her friends to my studio a couple weeks ago for a shoot to celebrate their friendship!
Tommie is facing pediatric neuroblastoma and is headed to NYC this month for surgery to remove a tumor in her abdomen. She will have these photos to think of her friends while she is away.
Tommie, I wish you the best and can’t wait for you to return to Pittsburgh!
I’m so excited to share the first images from my new studio in Point Breeze! This is Jack, who spent his first year doing the Baby Plan with me so we are good buddies already!
We tried a little natural light shooting in the sitting room, where Jack showed off his 412 style in a tee from Commonwealth Press.
I thought that he looked pretty handsome in these black & white images!

I shot this twin newborn session at my photography studio in Pittsburgh. Michael & Madelyn’s mom & dad came to see me in January for a maternity session, their story is here.
Newborn photography is never simple and session can last as long as 2-3 hours just because babies have a lot of needs to be met! During a longer session I am not actually shooting portraits for that whole time, it can just take little longer when baby is fussy (normal!!). With twins it can go either way! Double the fussiness or double the sleep! These two slept for a long stretch right at the beginning of our session, so I got all of these great portraits in a short period of time.
The bottom photo is my favorite because of how their toes are curling up around each other. Twins!! Love!
