These two lovebirds are expecting their first chick later this year. Mama had many ideas for a great shoot and I loved her style! You don’t always have to use maternity clothes for your shoot because tighter is better when it comes to getting a flattering portrait of your belly. Plus you might fond something that is maternity-friendly that will be more your style than maternity options.
The sunny sunshine image below with the bright blue sky is my favorite! She brought this cute hat to wear so I was able to point her directly into the late-day sun without bothering her eyes too much.
Can’t wait to see the beautiful baby girl that these to are expecting (and her nursery sounds lovely as well!).

Shooting was tough the first time! A typical growing toddler, Beau wanted to “fly away” so badly, that it was next to impossible to get anything but a blur!
Of course, the great thing about toddlers is how hilarious they are. Baby Beau kept Mom and Dad laughing (even though it was very hot!), and we got some memorable and beautiful photographs that will be treasured forever. Good boy, Beau! (cuddle, cuddle)
For some reason, this little “birdie” brought to mind a poem I remember from my college poetry class:
