I’m so excited to share the first images from my new studio in Point Breeze! This is Jack, who spent his first year doing the Baby Plan with me so we are good buddies already!
We tried a little natural light shooting in the sitting room, where Jack showed off his 412 style in a tee from Commonwealth Press.
I thought that he looked pretty handsome in these black & white images!
You’re so cool, Jack! Happy 2nd birthday!

Welcome to baby Imran and congratulations to his overjoyed family! We shot this lifestyle newborn photography session at the family home in Fox Chapel (Pittsburgh).
You know I LOVE a newborn baby and a pet! Bentley the cat was happy to oblige me. 🙂
This little guy had not one but two grandmas in town (on a resident and one Pittsburgh for an extended visit)! All the grandparents fussed over this little sweetie, who is full of personality and expression at just a week old! So many smiles, which of course they are are not “real” smiles at this age but I beg to differ!
Wonderful meeting you and your loving family, baby Imran!

Adorable baby Dylan has just about the sweetest and most adorable big brother in the world, so he has a good example set for him as he grows into a little person! His brother Caden is just a huge love bug!
This cute blue onesie fit him just right and I think it looked perfect on the irate bedspread in mom & dad’s room. One of the first things I do when I arrive for a lifestyle newborn session is look around the house for brightly-lit areas with interesting or simple backgrounds for portraits. We usually end up in the master bedroom at some point!
We got these timeless white portraits on the floor in the bedroom–very simple! Window light and a blanket, done.
This background was actually a red Christmas blanket and a green wrap (since Dylan was born near the holidays) but I thought it looked super cool in black & white!
My helper Caden watching garbage trucks out the window… 🙂
The men! Cute!
Lucky to get this babe with his eyes open, he was so sleepy and content!
Portraits in front of the Christmas tree are so fun!! I have a holiday baby (who just turned 6!!) so I am nostalgic for this type of image.
Baby Dylan has the cutest nautical-themed baby nursery! Navy blue, lime green, grey, and white. So classic!
Thanks H family–I loved shooting your sweet boys!
