This little guy joined us just a couple weeks ago to the delight of mom, dad, and (almost) 2 year old sister.  We did this entire shoot in one room because it had the best winter light!  You can see mom’s maternity session here.

This little guy was born in the middle of the “polar vortex” and is a little ray of sunshine in this land of never-ending snow.  We got some great portraits of  big sister as well, what a sweetie!

I was very pleased with the natural lifestyle feel of this shoot and am so in love with this family portrait!

In honor of the TONS of snow and freezing temps we are experiencing in Pittsburgh this week, I am pleased to share with you a fun mini session I did right before Christmas.  First we did a bunch of pics in my studio, where we captured this awesome portrait of these two:kids playing in the snow pittsburghgirl jumping black and white studio portrait

Milestone mini sessions are a great way to celebrate an occasion in your little one’s life–losing teeth, accomplishing a goal, or just… been a while since they had a great indoor portrait.  This is your opportunity to play dress-up and do something creative too! Pint-sized beauty Madeleine has been taking ballet lessons and loves her jewels!

I had the pleasure of joining the Buschman family at their lovely home in the Mission Hills area of Mt. Lebanon.  After months of rain and snow, we REALLY lucked out and got this beautiful, sunny spring morning.

 


I LOVE the mother/daughter portrait. The stars aligned on this day with the perfect morning light and happiest child!  Feels great to be shooting again… thanks Buschmans for having me in your home!
