Baby Blair 3 Months | Pittsburgh Baby Photographer
I could gush over baby Blair all day. From the sweetest face ever to her charming personality to spending time with her awesome mama, this shoot was a highlight of my month for sure!
Despite the dreary weather, I mostly used natural light for this shoot. We shot this session in the upper level of the house and opened up all the blinds completely. With enough windows, this can work even on a very overcast/rainy day. I did use some fill flash on the nursery photos, but that’s kind of a must for images that are meant to feature the space (versus a portrait). I have been using Canon 600 ex-rt’s for a couple years now and I just LOVE them SO much. Before that I used 580 ex II”s and, though that is a great flash as well, the (very expensive!!!) Flex TT1/Mini TT5 Pocket Wizards I was using for OCF were unreliable at best. I appreciate that with the 600 ex-rt’s, I can just turn them on and go when using for a light fill. Time is money people. I first saw the 600’s demonstrated by Hanson Fong at Imaging in Nashville and knew I had to have them! I also just got a MagMod bubble thingy and found it very simple to use but kind of heavy.
This face!! Baby Blair, you are gorgeous!!
Baby B, you are sweet and adorable and I can’t wait to see you (and your mama) again in a couple months!!
