6-10 months is easily my favorite age for a baby studio portrait.  Sweetie pie Emeline shows off her many skills and expressions here, including sitting, standing, laughing, and generally being so insanely cute! This Christening gown was worm by mom and grandma!  I admire this kind of tradition and have a box of lovely heirloom things saved for my kids. :) Mamas, don't let your baby grow up before you have a beautiful portrait of the two of you. David just turned 3 and his little sister Lucy is about 6 months old.  My favorite from their session is this sweet sibling portrait!  My kids would never do this, but then again, my daughter is 21 months so doesn't really sit still too often! David is one of Jonah's best buddies from preschool, so I already knew these two cuties pretty well before photographing them. As you can see, David & Lucy have tons of personality and are happy, content, and fun. These kiddos came to me with their mama as a surprise for dad's birthday.  We did a short & fun mini session in my Mt. Lebanon studio and printed up a beautiful wall portrait just in time for the big b-day.  I've had several clients in the past do portrait sessions as a surprise gift and it's always fun! My goal here was a simple & natural portrait that shows just how sweet and loving these two are.  They have fun & loving relationship that was easy to see & photograph.This is the image that captured mom's heart and made it up on the wall.  So much joy in these two kiddos' hearts!
