In honor of the TONS of snow and freezing temps we are experiencing in Pittsburgh this week, I am pleased to share with you a fun mini session I did right before Christmas.  First we did a bunch of pics in my studio, where we captured this awesome portrait of these two:kids playing in the snow pittsburghgirl jumping black and white studio portrait

Milestone mini sessions are a great way to celebrate an occasion in your little one’s life–losing teeth, accomplishing a goal, or just… been a while since they had a great indoor portrait.  This is your opportunity to play dress-up and do something creative too! This sweetie was born a couple weeks early with the most gorgeous head of hair!  He joins big brother Brayden and a happy mama & daddy!

This portrait was taken in December, back when I thought it was cold and had no idea what January was going to be like!  This is my second winter in Pittsburgh and I am loving all the snow!  Yes, really!  I grew up in San Diego so it’s a fun change.
