The fall portrait season is winding down and cards are set to start arriving next week; I can't believe it's already almost December!!  I have many fun events coming up, including TWO SPOTS for Saturday's studio minis and a holiday event at Hatch Art Studio next week for Point Breeze Light Up Night.  Make sure you are on my email list for the info! This was my fourth portrait session with this Shadyside family!  We shot their session at the Westinghouse Memorial at Schenley Park, which is a special place to mom from her childhood.  The City of Pittsburgh recently redid the whole site, and it made a gorgeous location for a portrait session. Baby Andra was born at the very end of August, just four days before the school cutoff!  Will she be the youngest kid in her class?  Yet to be seen!  Right now she is just focused on sleeping and eating mostly. This family lives right in my Mt. Lebanon neighborhood and I know mom from Mt. Lebanon Junior Women's Club, which I have been a member of for the past three years. Mom is an expert in all things design, some had their stunning home as a backdrop.  Big sister Kate was very sweet, holding and kissing her baby sister! During a diaper and feeding break, I got a tour of the gorgeous stone patio at this family's home. The nursery walls are black and the furniture is mostly white and neutral.  Very chic! I shot this Pittsburgh lifestyle newborn session just a couple weeks ago when baby Andrew was a couple weeks old.  We shot in their home, where I enjoyed some lovely blank backdrops because they had just moved in fairly recently! Baby Andrew's big brother Seth was thrilled to be cuddling his sweet new brother! Baby Andrew's room has the cutest rug from Land of Nod, which made a sweet backdrop for some of his portraits.  Since it was summer, we even shot some portraits outside with 11 yr old chocolate lab Tate.
