It’s so good to be back outside doing family sessions!! Thank you Mother Nature for this beautiful evening I spent with the Patel family!
I am a big fan of neutrals and was extremely pleased with mom’s outfit selections here… a great mix of textures but all in the same tone family. Lighter neutrals create a breezy feel in a portrait that I love!
2 year old Lena is a classmate of my son’s in preschool so I’ve already had a chance to get to know her before our session. She loves learning about whales and listening to opera music. Little brother Avi was a real trooper too–you can’t always get a 1 year old to cooperate for an evening session but it pays off in beautiful, warm light if they do!!
This is one of my favorite photos of all time–I just think it captures the two year old spirit so well, and her long, dark hair contrasts so beautifully with the backlighting. Love it!!
Thank you Patel family, it was such a pleasure doing portraits with you!!

These are gorgeous!!! I agree with you the neutral palette is really wonderful! It makes all the other colors look brighter and warmer! I love the one of the little boy sitting in the wheat. So so cute.
