It’s pretty much the thrill of a newborn photographer’s life to photograph twins! I had been waiting for this session for a few months when these two finally arrived at almost 38 weeks. Ryan Thomas was born at 6 lbs 15 oz and 18 1/2 inches and Kaitlyn Meri was 4 lbs 10 oz and 17 inches at birth. Ryan was born even larger than my own little Mimi, and Kaitlyn is a tiny and perfect little thing. Both very healthy and sweet as can be!
The challenge here, of course, is finding the perfect moment when both babies are calm and sleepy, with full bellies and clean diapers, to take a photo of them at the same time. All of us moms of singletons know that this is hard enough with one, much less two! Their mama followed my directions perfectly and they were wiped out when I arrived, and I got most of my favorites in the first 15 minutes!
Ryan pretty much snoozed through the whole thing, but Kaitlyn was awake for a lot of the time so I was able to get a photograph of her beautiful eyes.
Thank you Weaver family for having me in your home to photograph these two perfect babies!
